Job Summary
Develop and deliver validation plans for VAVE proposals, defining test scope, success criteria, and acceptance requirements aligned with DFMEA and risk assessments. Lead and execute functional, environmental, reliability, and durability testing to validate design changes against performance, quality, and safety standards. Analyze test data to draw evidence-based conclusions, producing structured reports that support approvals and regulatory engagement. Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and Manufacturing to validate cost reduction opportunities while driving continuous improvement in test methods and data integrity. This full-time role requires onsite attendance for a minimum of four days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline)
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in product validation, testing, or quality engineering
- Knowledge of DFMEA and risk-based validation methods
- Good understanding of project delivery, risk management, and structured engineering processes
- Knowledge of test fixturing and associated engineering principles
- Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-focused mindset with a strong drive to deliver results
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
- Willingness to be onsite a minimum of four days per week
- Appreciation of manufacturing processes such as sheet metal fabrication, injection moulding, and composite manufacturing
