Job Summary
Log metadata of incoming physical media, barcode elements, and shippers into the inventory system. Shelve, re-shelve, shift, and re-pack film, video tape, and hard drives to guarantee accurate tracking and shelf location. Securely pull physical media for production use and return elements to vault storage when complete. Dispatch couriers to pick up media, documents, and supplies; perform virus scans on hard drives and assess elements for damage. Compose e-mail correspondences, answer phones, and coordinate local and international deliveries with vendors and DTDC. Maintain a tidy workspace while performing some physical labor. Work variable shifts including second, swing, or graveyard shifts, with overtime, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
