Job Summary
Vault Clerk responsible for issuing, collecting, transferring and counting monies. Manually stack currency, count and wrap coins, and record amounts to document accuracy. May assist with pulling/replacing canisters from gaming machines for the drop. Ensure compliance with facility policies and standards and maintain accuracy and accountability of money handling in a fast-paced casino environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equuatent
- One year banking and/or cash handling experience with large sums of money
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to obtain license or permit from Regulatory Agency, if applicable
- Ability to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of departmental rules, regulations, and policies
- Proficiency with 10-key adding machine
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods
- Ability to work in a smoke filled casino environment
