Vascular Ultrasound Technologist

Job Summary
Perform non-invasive diagnostic vascular tests, including carotid duplex, lower extremity artery duplex, lower extremity physiologic exams, venous duplex, and aorta/visceral duplex. Interpret test results and provide accurate reports to physicians for diagnostic purposes. Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, explaining the testing process and answering questions. Maintain thorough documentation of patient histories and test results. Work with physicians and medical staff to coordinate patient care and follow-up testing as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Certification: Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy, pathology, and diagnostic techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and medical staff.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
