Job Summary
Perform a wide range of ultrasound imaging procedures, primarily in an ER environment (hospital and free-standing). Maintain equipment and area cleanliness; communicate professionally with hospital staff and patients; demonstrate empathy and professionalism in patient interactions; operate necessary diagnostic ultrasound equipment and adapt to a variety of scans (abdominal, OB, vascular). Requires ARDMS RDMS (preferably Ab or OB), with at least 1 year of post-graduate ultrasound experience, valid driver’s license, BLS/CPR, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience post-graduation
- Current ARDMS certification – RDMS (ideally in Ab or OB)
- Valid Driver’s License
- BLS/CPR Certification
- Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screen and background check
- Comfort level with general abdominal, general OB & general vascular scans/procedures
