Job Summary
Vascular Ultrasound Technologist performing ultrasound diagnostics to support physicians in evaluating vascular and related conditions. Operates ultrasound equipment, ensures image quality, reviews test images, and provides summary findings to physicians. Educates and orients employees and students in proper diagnostic procedures within the department. Adheres to OSHA, DOT, EPA, DNREC, and JCAHO safety codes and requirements. Travel up to 20%. Requires an Associate's Degree in Radiology or Ultrasound and professional credentials such as RDMS, RVT, RDCS, ARRT (VS), and ARDMS as listed.

- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographers (RDCS) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- ARRT (VS) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Registered Ultrasonographer (ARDMS) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
