Job Summary
Independently perform vascular sonography and prepare patients for procedures within scope of practice. Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac and/or vascular interventional procedures, analyzing imaging results and resolving image quality issues. Educate patients on procedures and equipment while monitoring patient conditions and reporting status changes. Prepare equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, select exposure factors, and implement safety standards and quality control procedures. Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. PRN schedule, $40.40-$56.56/hour, onsite role in Aurora, CO.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Vascular Specialist
- Registered Vascular Tech
- Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography, diagnostic cardiac sonography or vascular technology program
- Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
