Job Summary
Independently perform vascular sonography and prepare patients for procedures within scope of practice. Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac and/or vascular interventional procedures, analyzing imaging results and resolving quality issues. Educate patients on procedures and equipment while monitoring their condition and reporting status changes. Prepare and troubleshoot equipment, selecting exposure factors and implementing safety standards and quality control. Perform vascular diagnostics with critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Full-time, 80 hours per pay period, days shift, onsite in Aurora, CO.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Vascular Specialist
- Registered Vascular Tech
- Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography, diagnostic cardiac sonography or vascular technology program
- Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- 1 year preferred
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
