Job Summary
Perform inpatient and/or outpatient vascular ultrasound testing, including various 2D and Doppler vascular imaging and physiologic testing. Provide complex technical care using ultrasound technology for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, then document and submit all necessary exam findings. Maintain current Basic Life Support certification and hold an active registry credential with ARDMS or CCI within one year of hire. This role is a PRN position at Piedmont Columbus Midtown.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited Vascular Sonography program
- Equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC)
- BCLS - Basic Life Support in accordance with the American Heart Association
- Current registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
- RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist
- RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) with RVS certification
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient / ambulatory vascular sonographer
