Job Summary
Prepare the Vascular Laboratory and equipment for procedures; compile and forward test results to the physician; prepare patients for vascular studies; monitor for and report complications; document observations; maintain patient records and support charges for services; interpret patient status during studies; assist in data collection for quality assessment; restock and prep rooms for subsequent procedures; educate patients on procedures; collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflows and equipment readiness.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years experience
- Diploma from a Vocational / Technical School
- Certificate from an Accredited Ultrasound program
- Associates degree preferred
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- English communication (oral and written)
- Ability to operate ultrasound equipment
- Experience with EHR and practice management systems preferred
