Job Summary
Vascular Surgery Opportunity in Boise: Join SAMG as a fellowship-trained vascular surgeon in a high-performing, multispecialty practice. The role supports advanced open and endovascular procedures, oversees a non-invasive vascular lab, and collaborates with a three-surgeon, two-APP team to expand a regional vascular referral center. The candidate participates in co-management of the vascular service line, integrates with hospital administration, and contributes to a growing, integrated care model. Preference for RPVI credential. Typical schedule is traditional Monday–Friday with 1:4 on-call; opportunities include outreach clinics, hybrid OR capabilities, and a comprehensive recruitment package including relocation, sign-on, loan repayment, PTO/CME, malpractice tail, and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited vascular surgery residency/fellowship
- ABS certification in vascular surgery or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment
- Board certification through the American Board of Surgery with certification of special qualification (CSQ) in vascular surgery or eligible within 3 years
- Current, unrestricted full medical license in Idaho and Oregon
- Privileges at SAMC-Boise and affiliated hospitals as needed
- DEA registration with Board of Pharmacy
- Controlled substance registration
- Relocation eligibility as part of recruitment package
