Job Summary
Provide diagnosis and treatment of vascular conditions with expansion of individualized healthcare services. Manage outpatient, pre-operative, and post-operative vascular surgery patients; perform comprehensive assessments; order, perform, and interpret diagnostic studies; exercise prescriptive authority or refer to other providers; educate patients and families; document care in accordance with specialty standards; participate in staff education and interprofessional collaboration; contribute to patient safety improvements and department operations.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree, Licensed Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with Prescriptive Authority, credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing or the Texas Medical Board.
- Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in vascular surgical first assisting and patient management.
