Vascular Surgeon Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Inpatient Facility in Lawrenceville, Georgia

Job Summary
Provide 24-hour call coverage one weekend per month, beginning Friday at 5:00 PM and concluding Monday at 7:00 AM, with daily rounding on Saturday and Sunday between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM shared with the NVS APP. Respond in a timely manner to pages and calls to assess emergent need, provide inpatient and ER consults as indicated, and perform operative intervention as required for patient care. Non-emergent needs may be deferred to NVS staff on the following business day. This inpatient facility in Lawrenceville, Georgia, supports vascular surgery services under an established call coverage model with on-site APP support to facilitate coordinated patient care throughout each assigned coverage period.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification in Vascular Surgery
- Recent inpatient experience
- Availability for weekend rotations
- Ability to work 24-hour call coverage
- Ability to work shifts from Friday at 5:00 PM to Monday at 7:00 AM
- Ability to perform daily rounding on Saturday and Sunday between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM
- Ability to respond in a timely manner to pages and calls
- Ability to provide inpatient and ER consults
- Ability to perform operative intervention
