Job Summary
Perform vascular ultrasound examinations focusing on the lower extremities and create detailed reports for physicians to guide safe, effective treatment plans. Collaborate with physicians to explain examination results and proposed treatment options to patients. Maintain and prepare examination rooms and equipment before and after each patient, ensure timely exams to maintain efficient patient flow, and participate in equipment upkeep and inventory management. Requires completion of an accredited ultrasound program and vascular registry certification (or obtained within 60 days of hire); 1+ year of vascular study experience. Spanish speaking is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited ultrasound program
- Vascular registry certification (RVT, RVS, or RPhS) or obtained within 60 days of hire
- 1+ years of conducting vascular studies (e.g., DVT rule outs and insufficiency studies)
- Spanish speaking preferred
