Job Summary
Conduct thorough vascular ultrasound assessments on patients, specifically targeting the lower extremities, while ensuring an exceptional patient experience throughout the process. Perform vascular imaging studies including venous insufficiency, reflux, mapping, and duplex examinations, as well as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing when applicable. Independently perform and document ultrasound examinations while maintaining accuracy and quality standards, utilizing PACS and EMR systems to manage images and support clinical workflow. Work within a vein clinic, vascular laboratory, or related vascular imaging environment to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program
- Current RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist), RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist), or RPhS (Registered Phlebology Sonographer) credential
- eligibility to obtain certification within 90 days
- Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations
- Ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a patient-focused healthcare environment
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience performing venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex studies
- Experience with general ultrasound modalities such as OB/GYN and abdominal
