Job Summary
Conduct thorough vascular ultrasound assessments on patients, specifically targeting the lower extremities, including venous insufficiency, reflux, mapping, and duplex examinations. Perform additional studies such as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing while independently documenting exams and maintaining quality standards. Utilize PACS and EMR systems to manage images and support clinical workflow within a vein clinic or vascular laboratory environment. Work Monday and Wednesday mornings in Tomball, TX, with potential for expanded scheduling. Requires an accredited sonography graduate degree and current RVT, RVS, or RPhS credential.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program
- Current RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist), RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist), or RPhS (Registered Phlebology Sonographer) credential, or eligibility to obtain certification within 90 days
- Ability to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images
