Job Summary
Vascular Ultrasound Technologist position performing non-invasive vascular procedures with the Pulse Heart Institute. Produces optimum scanning results, schedules ultrasound appointments, writes reports, handles billing and room stock, and prioritizes patient welfare in the ultrasound department. Requires RVT certification and/or ARDMS certification, current BLS, and typically two years of college course work (two years experience preferred). Pediatric, adult and geriatric patient care experience and vascular imaging expertise are relevant to this per diem, variable-shift role.
Required Qualifications
- Satisfactory completion of RVT certification examination and/or ARDMS becoming a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
- Current BLS Certification
