Job Summary
Vascular Neurologist sought to join Hackensack University Medical Center’s Comprehensive Stroke Center. Responsibilities include clinical care of stroke patients, teaching medical students and neurology residents, participation in ongoing clinical research, and collaboration within an active Neurosciences department. The successful candidate will have completed a Neurology residency and an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Vascular Neurology, be board certified in Neurology with board certification/eligibility in Vascular Neurology, and be able to obtain NJ licensure, DEA, and CDS licenses. The role supports a robust stroke program with Neurocritical Care, telemedicine capabilities, and opportunities for academic appointment and scholarship.
Required Qualifications
- Fellowship trained in Vascular Neurology
- Board Certified in Neurology
- Board Certified/Eligible in Vascular Neurology
- Ability to obtain professional licensure, DEA and CDS licenses in New Jersey
- Track record of teaching medical students and residents
- Track record of scholarship
- Eligibility for a faculty appointment at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine
