Job Summary
Full-time Vascular Neurologist to join Hackensack University Medical Center’s Joint Commission-certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. The successful candidate will have completed a Neurology residency and an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Vascular Neurology, with board certification in Neurology and board certification or eligible status in Vascular Neurology. Responsibilities include teaching medical students and neurology residents, providing outpatient stroke clinics and inpatient stroke care, participating in a clinical research program, and contributing to neurocritical care and stroke service activities. Licensure, DEA and CDS licenses in New Jersey are required or obtainable. The position offers a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits; salary details reflect minimum base pay and may be adjusted during the offer process.
Required Qualifications
- Residency in Neurology and ACGME-accredited fellowship in Vascular Neurology
- Board Certified in Neurology and Board Certified/Eligible in Vascular Neurology
- Ability to obtain professional licensure, DEA and CDS licenses in New Jersey
- Track record of teaching medical students and residents
- Track record of scholarship
- Eligibility for a faculty appointment at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine
