Job Summary
Interventional radiology locum-tenens position in an inpatient facility in Alexandria, VA. Provide comprehensive IR services Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM with call coverage, performing 10-15 procedures daily including paracentesis, thoracentesis, lung biopsies, and large organ biopsies (renal and liver). Requires board certification and ongoing call coverage; documentation and case management supported by ScribeSystem and MERGE PACs.
Required Qualifications
- Board certification in Interventional Radiology
- MD and medical license in good standing
- Inpatient interventional radiology coverage
- Experience performing paracentesis, thoracentesis, lung biopsies, and large organ biopsies
- Ability to provide call coverage
- Proficiency with ScribeSystem for dictation and documentation
- Experience with MERGE PACs
