Job Summary
Interventional radiologist needed for locum tenens coverage at an inpatient facility. Weekdays 7:30 AM–5:00 PM with call responsibilities. Daily procedures include 10–15 interventions such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, lung biopsies, and large organ biopsies (renal and liver). Board-certified physician required; on-site work in the Alexandria, VA area with documentation and case management via ScribeSystem and MERGE PACs. Flexible assignment duration from ASAP ongoing.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification in Radiology
- MD/DO or equivalent medical degree
- Interventional radiology subspecialty
- Inpatient experience
- Call coverage
- Mercury PACs/ScribeSystem familiarity
