Job Summary
Conduct vascular access procedures at the bedside within a 160-mile radius of Asheville, NC, including PICC, midline, and advanced line insertions using ultrasound guidance. Clinically assess patients to recommend treatment courses while maintaining strict infection prevention measures and sterile fields. Provide patient consultations on device appropriateness, ensure complete documentation and reporting to licensed providers, and adapt to new environments while communicating complex information clearly. Perform duties independently as a specialized clinician, adhering to state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies. Two or three 10-hour shifts per week, typically Fridays through Sundays, with pay ranging from $45 to $50/hour.
