Job Summary
Varsity Wrestling Coach at Woodbury High School to instruct student-athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for team success, while also teaching character, discipline and leadership. The role emphasizes program development, staff leadership, collaboration with parents, staff, and community leaders, and a focus on continuous improvement and transformational coaching. Requires a valid Minnesota coaching certificate (or alternative qualifications). Assignment dates are November 17, 2026 through February 28, 2027, with compensation described via the Teacher's Contract Schedule C base points (base rate $5800). Required Qualifications
- A valid Minnesota coaching certificate (or alternative qualifications) is required.
- Candidates are desired to have successful high school and/or collegiate level head coaching experience, and related successful experiences in educational leadership.
- Experience in building a comprehensive program, developing staff, and managing diverse program-wide elements in accordance with the Woodbury High School mission and vision.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; commitment to develop and maintain positive relationships between the Wrestling program and the local community.
