Varsity Tennis Assistant Coach (Fall Season)

Job Summary
Demonstrate high-level tennis instruction and strategy during practice sessions while supporting the Head Coach in daily program operations. Cultivate a positive, inclusive team culture aligned with the school's anti-racist and anti-bias mission, and collaborate closely with athletics leadership to advance competitive excellence. Provide holistic care for student-athletes' social, emotional, and academic development, modeling leadership and integrity in all interactions. Assist with administrative tasks such as attendance tracking and match logistics, and maintain professional relationships with families and colleagues. Work weekday evenings between 3:00pm and 6:30pm during the August 20–October 28, 2026 season.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- High school playing experience
- Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification
- Willingness to obtain CPR, First Aid, and AED certification prior to the season
- Availability for practices, matches, and team events, including weekday evenings (3 - 6:30pm)
Desired Qualifications
- Previous high school or collegiate coaching experience
- Collegiate playing experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage relationships with student-athletes, families, and school administrators
- A record of integrity, reliability, punctuality and strong work ethic
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
