Job Summary
Assist the Head Coach in planning, organizing, coaching, and developing the Northwest School volleyball program and players. Demonstrate the ability to teach skills and strategies at the high school level, foster dedication, teamwork, sportsmanship, and pride in the program, and engage with student-athletes, colleagues, parents, opponents, and officials with respect. Attend staff trainings and coaching clinics, collaborate as a program member, and uphold school policies and ethical standards while promoting social justice within the team and broader community.
Required Qualifications
- Expertise and experience coaching volleyball, preferably at the high school level or above
- First Aid/CPR training, sudden cardiac arrest training, and head injury training are current
- Successful completion of background check
- Availability Monday-Friday and potentially Saturdays
- Coaching experience and ability to collaborate with Head Coach
