Job Summary
Assistant Coach for Varsity Girls Soccer focusing on developing character, teamwork, and athletic skills. Responsibilities include creating engaging practice plans centered on skill development and team growth; supervising student-athletes from 2:55pm through practice/competition; accompanying the team on bus travel to games; providing weekly progress updates to the athletic directors; maintaining attendance and compiling team statistics; inventorying equipment and coordinating end-of-season events; ensuring uniforms are distributed and all mandated coaching courses and trainings (First aid, AED, CPR, mandated reporter, NFHS concussion, etc.) are completed; accompanying student-athletes to practices and travel; fostering relationships within the Dwight community and promoting equity, inclusion, and belonging in teaching and learning. A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required. Location: New York, NY; in-person role at the school with travel as needed.
