Job Summary
Instruct athletes in the fundamental skills and strategies of lacrosse, develop and organize practice programs, evaluate coaching staff and players, supervise equipment and facilities, and ensure a safe environment for student-athletes. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, CPR certification, and prior lacrosse coaching experience; responsibilities include complying with school/MIAA policies, collaborating with staff and community, pursuing instructional and professional growth, and supporting college advancement for student-athletes while modeling sportsmanship and responsible conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- CPR certification
- Previous successful lacrosse coaching experience
- Ability to organize and supervise all levels of a sport program
- Commitment to professional growth
- Ability to accept responsibilities outside the team as they relate to the school and community
- Ability to handle multitude of varying and complex issues
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
