Job Summary
Head varsity girls basketball coach at Clermont Northeastern High School responsible for coordinating daily practice schedules, conducting summer camps, implementing training techniques, motivating and coaching high school athletes, and collaborating with the athletic director to advance the athletic department's goals; requires BCI/FBI background check and possession or ability to obtain a Pupil Activity Permit certification, with prior head-coaching experience preferred, and strong organizational/communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Successfully pass a BCI/FIB background check
- Have or being able to obtain a Pupil Activity Permit certification
- Prior basketball coaching experience with head coach preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with both students and adults
- Knowledge of techniques, workouts, and training methods
- Coordinate daily practice schedule
- Conduct summer camps
- Willingness to work as a team
- Demonstrate ability to motivate and coach high school athletes
- Work with youth programs to develop future players
- Willingness to work closely with athletic director to carry out goals and objectives of the athletic department
