Job Summary
Lead and coach student-athletes in fundamental soccer skills, strategy, and physical training for both individual and team success; execute practice plans and game-day strategies as directed; ensure compliance with Ohio School Law, OHSAA bylaws, and district policies; maintain accurate records (physical exams, emergency medical forms, equipment inventories); supervise students to ensure safety; communicate professionally with students, parents, Athletic Director, and administration; mentor student growth and character development while modeling the district’s Portrait of an Educator.
Required Qualifications
- Pupil Activity Permit (PAP) verified through the Ohio Department of Education (Fundamentals of Coaching, Concussion Training, Lindsay’s Law, CPR/First Aid)
- Background Check: current BCI/FBI check on file with the district
- HCM Documentation: digital onboarding forms completed and submitted
- High School Diploma or equivalent
