Varsity Cheerleading Assistant Coach

Varsity Cheerleading Assistant Coach needed to support the head coach in developing student-athletes through conditioning, skill development, and competition readiness. Responsibilities include enforcing behavioral and academic expectations, supervising athletes before, during, and after practices and contests (locker rooms, buses), coaching players and assigning positions, teaching fundamentals and strategies, conditioning athletes to improve endurance, strength, and agility, managing uniforms and equipment, ensuring safe playing fields and drills, and collaborating with the head coach and junior high programs to prepare athletes for higher levels of competition. Required: high school diploma, prior coaching or participation experience at the high school or collegiate level, strong communication and organizational skills, ability to develop athletes and foster team unity, willingness to work with athletes at all developmental stages, and clearances (Act 34, Act 114, Act 151) plus Act 168 and related medical paperwork; internal applicants may need degree certificates and transcripts.
