Job Summary

Manage and coordinate practice and game schedules while attending all practices and games. Demonstrate respect and good sportsmanship by developing teamwork, encouraging academic excellence, and ensuring adherence to training conduct. Supervise the issuance, return, and care of all equipment, supplies, and uniforms. Coordinate with the Site Coordinator and Athletics Director to develop guidelines, report injuries promptly, and provide continuous supervision to student-athletes. Ensure athletes are signed in and out appropriately to parents or guardians. Possess a current CPR/First Aid card, high school diploma, and prior coaching experience. Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Part-time, hourly position with California Sick Time and ongoing professional development.

Required Qualifications

  • Possess a current CPR/First Aid card
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior coaching experience
  • Knowledge of sports rules and regulations
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Able to motivate and provide leadership that promotes positive attitudes and good sportsmanship
  • Ability to work cooperatively with teachers and other staff personnel
  • Ability to establish good relations with individual students and groups

  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic, accountability, and ownership of work
  • Regular attendance, dependability and, punctuality in conformance with the standards

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior playing experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish
