Job Summary
Manage and coordinate practice and game schedules while attending all practices and games. Understand and possess knowledge of the rules and regulations of the sport according to school and league standards. Demonstrate respect and good sportsmanship at all times while developing and encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship, courtesy, fair play, academic excellence, and adherence to rules of training and conduct. Supervise the issuance, return, and care of all equipment, supplies, and uniforms. Coordinate with the Site Coordinator and Athletics Director to develop and communicate guidelines and expectations for student athletes. Report all injuries to the Site Coordinator and Athletics Director appropriately and promptly. Provide supervision to student-athletes at all times and ensure that student-athletes are signed in appropriately and signed out at the end of practices to their parents, legal guardians, or other approved adults. Meet with Site Coordinator and Athletics Director as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a current CPR/First Aid card
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior coaching experience
- Knowledge of sports rules and regulations
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

- Able to motivate and provide leadership that promotes positive attitudes and good sportsmanship
- Ability to work cooperatively with teachers and other staff personnel

- Strong work ethic, accountability, and ownership of work
- Regular attendance, dependability and, punctuality in conformance with the standards
Desired Qualifications
- Prior playing experience
- Bilingual in Spanish
