Job Summary
Varsity Baseball Coach responsible for planning and executing well-organized practices, developing character and confidence in student athletes, and maintaining conditioning programs throughout the season. Must comply with MHSAA rules and district policies, maintain consistent communication with the Athletic Director, model exemplary behavior toward players, parents, opponents, and officials, and perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director. Requires First Aid and CPR certification and CAP 1 or CAP 2 by the start of the 2027 season, plus prior successful coaching experience. Part-time role located in Clinton, Michigan, with responsibilities aligned to Clinton Education Association (CEA) contract terms.
Required Qualifications
- Must be certified in First Aid and CPR by the start of the 2027 season
- CAP 1 or CAP 2 by the start of the 2027 season
- Previous successful coaching experience.
- Comply with MHSAA rules/off season policies as well as department/district policies.
- Maintain consistent communication with Athletic Director.
- Plan and execute well-organized practices.
- Develop character, commitment and confidence in student athletes.
- Maintain effective pre-season and in-season conditioning programs.
- Model exemplary behavior toward players, parents, opponents and officials.
- Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
