Job Summary
Sand and varnish wood and trim units per Tiara Yachts manufacturing specifications using handheld routers, table saws, sanders, and varnish materials. Read units of measure, communicate product or material constraints to the team leader, and maintain a safe, organized work environment while practicing required PPE. Perform long periods of standing, kneeling, and lifting up to 40lbs. Assist with training team members to develop job knowledge when requested. Complete other related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read and understand units of measure
- Must be able to see color
- Must practice PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) policies as mandated per area
- Must follow company safety guidelines
- Must be fluent in the English language
- Ability to work overtime as requested
- Pass a background check, drug test and physical
- Must be accustomed to physical tasks for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
- Must be able to work alone or with a team
- Must have an eye for details and quality
- Must be dependable
- Must be personable
- Must be able to follow manufacturing instruction and understand processes
- Must be willing to work on a team or individually
Desired Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred
