Job Summary
Secure leads on units to protect from varnish, use sanding equipment to remove excess varnish, and operate hoists and power lift trucks to move materials. Make general decisions regarding setup sequences and process monitoring while maintaining good housekeeping and safety practices. Perform daily and weekly TPM tasks and complete checklists. Read and follow written process instructions, recording information as required. Work under immediate supervision with a 3:30pm to 10:30pm shift schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- Read and write
- Follow written process instructions
- Record information as required
- Must be available for 2nd shift (3:30pm-10:30pm)
- Must be able to lift materials
- Must be able to operate hoists and power lift trucks
- Must be able to use sanding equipment
- Must be able to perform daily/weekly TPM tasks and complete checksheets
- Must observe good safety practices
- Must exercise good housekeeping in work area
- Must be able to make general decisions as to setup sequences and process monitoring
Desired Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
