Job Summary
Variety Manager oversees the Variety Department to maximize sales and profit, leads training of new and existing staff, implements weekly end-aisle merchandising plans, orders and rotates stock, builds product displays, and ensures accurate pricing and signage. The role involves supervising inventory movement, operating and maintaining display standards, using stocking equipment, and performing miscellaneous tasks as directed by the store manager within an employee-owned store environment that emphasizes quality customer service and community support.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Ability to give/receive complex verbal instructions
- English literacy
- Good interpersonal communications
- Experience in merchandising and department supervision (preferred)
