Job Summary
Variable Golf Course Seasonal Maintenance Worker responsibilities include hand mowing and trimming, maintenance of golf course grounds and facilities, and assisting with events as needed. Duties cover mowing turf, restroom cleaning, facility repair, painting, minor construction, trash removal, sign installation, and participation in short-term projects. The role maintains golf equipment and facilities (including clubhouse and course restrooms) and keeps cart paths safe and usable. May be assigned to areas such as mowing, trimming, trash removal, fairways, greens, and may assist with signage and hand watering. The position may lead to limited supervision of other temporary staff and may involve snow removal in the shoulder season. A valid driver’s license is required; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. The role is part-time and seasonal with non-benefitted status and an at-will employment relationship.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Previous experience in golf or parks maintenance (minimum of one season)
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Valid driver’s license, with good driving record
