Job Summary
Provide piano accompaniment and musical support for choir rehearsals, concerts, festivals, musicals, performances, and related school events. Accompany students during rehearsals and performances using assigned musical selections; assist with rehearsal preparation and practice sessions; support vocal students across vocal sections; review and prepare music; collaborate with VAPA staff on schedules, music selections, and event preparation; participate in rehearsals scheduled during class periods, after school, evenings, and occasional weekends; record accompaniment tracks for instructional use; provide musical support during concert prep leading to performances; maintain professional interactions with students, staff, and community members; exercise sound judgment and professionalism while supporting student performers and school productions; attend rehearsals and related events in a timely, professional manner; perform other related duties as assigned.
