Job Summary
Implement Vanta for private-sector clients by scoping frameworks, connecting integrations, configuring controls, and closing gaps. Build sustainable GRC programs with policies, evidence collection workflows, and vendor management processes that persist after audits. Guide organizations through SOC 2, ISO 27001, and cross-border compliance attestations, then support ongoing managed-compliance work post-go-live. Fluency in Spanish and English is required, along with residence in Mexico or the United States. Applicants must be set up to contract independently via 1099 or corporate structures, with specific invoicing capabilities for Mexican RFCs. This part-time, project-based role offers hourly rates of $50–$100 USD for independent consultants delivering Vanta engagements to clients in both regions.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience implementing Vanta and using it to develop GRC programs for private-sector organizations
- Fluency in Spanish and English, spoken and written
- Residence in Mexico or the United States
- Set up to contract independently: 1099 or corp-to-corp in the US; in Mexico, an active RFC with the ability to issue CFDI invoices, personally or through your own company
Desired Qualifications
- Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer
- Experience with venture-backed startups and fintechs
- Familiarity with Mexican data-protection law (LFPDPPP)
