Job Summary
Seasonal Sales Associate at Vans will be the face of the brand, delivering energy, authenticity, and a customer-first mindset through engaging customer interactions, sharing product knowledge, and delivering best-in-class service. Responsibilities include driving sales, visual merchandising, product replenishment, cashier duties, loss prevention support, maintaining store presentation, and adhering to company policies and safety standards. The role supports peak-season store operations with potential transition to regular employment. Key skills include customer engagement, product knowledge, teamwork, communication, organizational skills, and comfort with standing for long periods; a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. Hiring range is $14.00–$19.20 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- customer service experience preferred; retail experience is a plus
- ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, squatting, climbing ladders, and lifting light to moderate weight
- proficient computer skills including basic retail systems and applications
- strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to changing business needs
