Job Summary
Operate a 14-passenger van to transport clients to and from residences and WellStone for scheduled appointments; maintain van cleanliness; perform daily preventative maintenance checks; adhere to DOT rules and regulations; attend required safety trainings; maintain appropriate boundaries with clients; observe and report information to appropriate supervisors; ensure clients buckle seat belts and follow safety rules; typical duties include completing other assigned tasks; full-time schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and good 5-year driving record
- Previous experience driving groups preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff
- Willingness to work with a team with the clients' safety and needs as top priority
- Knowledge of roadway signs, signals, and proper traffic procedures
- Knowledge of local community, i.e. streets/routes
