Job Summary
Transport residents to and from appointments, group activities, and other destinations while enforcing safety rules during travel. Maintain the vehicle in a safe, clean, and sanitary condition and secure all necessary paperwork for appointments, delivering documents to appropriate persons. Requires excellent driving skills, a valid driver's license, and knowledge of automobile service requirements with at least one year of driving experience. Operates a 7 to 15 passenger vehicle; a CDL license is preferred. This role supports a positive atmosphere for seniors, families, and team members within a community dedicated to quality care.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; both oral and written
- Requires excellent driving skills and knowledge of automobile service requirements with a minimum of 1 years' driving experience
- Operates a 7 to 15 passenger vehicle
- A valid driver's license is required for the state in which the hiring community is located
- No more than two moving violations in a three-year period on the driving record
- High school diploma or GED
