Job Summary
Van Driver for YMCA Afterschool Programs responsible for safe pupil transportation, vehicle maintenance, and positive interaction with staff, families, and program participants; ensure DOT and EEC licensing compliance, accommodate children with disabilities per ADA/EEC, perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections, and engage with school liaisons and volunteers to support community programs.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent driving record
- Must have a 7D or school bus license or be able to obtain one
- At least 21 years of age
- Driver’s License valid for at least 3 years
- Knowledge of MA driving rules and regulations
- Effective leadership and crisis management skills
- First Aid and CPR certifications valid prior to driving
