Job Summary
Driver/ Floater role responsible for safely transporting families to Grace Place satellite locations and providing flexible classroom support. Responsibilities include transporting families on assigned routes, ensuring vehicle inspections and safety, securing infants and children in car seats, maintaining safe and positive environments during transportation and classroom activities, assisting lead teachers with daily activities, and following safety protocols and documentation procedures. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain), ability to meet background screening requirements, and within 1 year, obtain Foundation Florida DCF certificate. Works part-time during the school year with potential mobility between driving and classroom support as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within required timeframe)
- Ability to meet state background screening requirements
- Must obtain Foundation Florida DCF certificate within 1 year of employment
