Job Summary
Van Driver needed at East Troy Manor (Senior Care Community) on a PRN basis. Responsible for safely transporting residents to appointments at medical facilities and on outings, loading/securing passengers with wheelchairs and mobility devices, assisting passengers exiting the vehicle, providing necessary documentation to the facility, and using maps/GPS to navigate. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, 18+, valid driver's license with clean driving record, CPR certification, physical ability to lift up to 80 pounds, and strong communication in English with elderly residents. Duties include timely arrival to appointments, ensuring safety during outings, vehicle maintenance tasks, and reporting issues to the Maintenance Director. Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Be CPR Certified
- Be physically able to waist lift, push and/or pull maximum of 80 pounds
- Ability to frequently bend, squat or climb during an 8-hour day
- Have a good sense of direction and be able to follow a map or GPS
- Must be English literate and be able to communicate with the elderly and the public at large
