Job Summary
Operate a campus van to transport youth and staff to designated locations, coordinating trips from early morning to late evening. Perform proper maintenance and cleanliness on vehicles, reporting safety conditions and needs. Monitor and supervise youth behaviors, ensuring seatbelt compliance and administering first aid if accidents occur. Maintain safe and secure environments while communicating with staff regarding individual youth needs and progress. Adhere to State of Nebraska Vehicle and Driver Safety Guidelines and Boys Town policies for outings and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Previous driving experience
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Pass an annual Motor Vehicle Registration (MVR) check
- Knowledge of State of Nebraska Vehicle and Driver Safety Guidelines
- Ability to safely navigate a vehicle in all weather and road conditions
- Ability to communicate in an articulate, professional manner
- Knowledge of the Boys Town Model

- High School diploma or equivalent
- Bus driving experience
