Job Summary
Maintain vehicles per warranty and internal maintenance plans to ensure safe, working order. Transport residents to medical appointments, outings, and shopping trips while acting as an activity assistant during excursions, staying with the group except when parking. Monitor resident activity and alert staff when assistance is necessary to assure safety. This role supports planning, coordinating, and implementing all activities requiring van transportation for community residents.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Must have demonstrated activities/recreational experience
- Possess excellent communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent certificate preferred
- Have a demonstrated interest in the elderly and are knowledgeable of servicing their needs
