Job Summary
Van Driver for Adult Day Health in Fall River: Full/Part-Time hours with a split-shift schedule (6:30–10:00 a.m. and 1:30–5:00 p.m.), transporting program participants per DOT rules, ensuring safety with seat belts and wheelchair tie-downs, maintaining daily logs and pre/post-trip inspections, assisting at sites as needed, and supporting a medically-based program focused on participant independence and well-being. Requires CPR/First Aid, valid CDL-type driving experience preferred, and successful completion of background/drug checks; works with a team to coordinate transportation safety and logistics.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Experience transporting elders or disabled (ADH)
- Ability to safely push/pull/load/unload participants requiring wheelchairs
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively
- Pass pre-employment drug test and be enrolled in drug consortium for random testing
- CPR and First Aid certification maintained
- Experience driving commercial vehicles preferred
- Must complete MA State CORI and CPS checks and company-paid pre-employment physical and drug testing
