Job Summary
Van Driver for Adult Day Health program in Fall River, MA. Part-time role (21+ hours/week) offering a $18-$19/hour pay, with a Monday–Friday split shift (6:30-10:00 a.m. and 1:30-5:00 p.m.). Responsibilities include transporting participants according to DOT safety rules, securing passengers and wheelchairs, maintaining vehicle safety equipment, completing daily logs and pre/post trip inspections, assisting at sites as needed, and keeping CPR/First Aid certifications current. Must have experience with elders or disabled individuals, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, ability to work in a team, pass pre-employment drug testing and background checks (CORI/CPS), and preferably experience driving commercial vehicles. Required Qualifications
- Experience with elders or the disabled (ADH)
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Ability to safely push, pull, load, and unload participants requiring wheelchairs
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and enrollment in a drug consortium
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Experience driving commercial vehicles preferred
- MA State CORI check and CPS check
- Company-paid pre-employment physical and drug testing and enrollment in drug/alcohol testing consortium
