Job Summary
Drive Lifeworks vans to transport individuals with developmental disabilities from homes to worksites and recreational activities. Operate the vehicle safely and legally while maintaining it for cleanliness and reporting maintenance needs immediately. Supervise passenger safety by ensuring seat belt use, securing wheelchairs to restraints, and assisting passengers in and out of the vehicle. Submit required documentation including time sheets, maintenance reports, and attendance records in a timely manner. Maintain effective communication with staff and families, attend transportation meetings and trainings, and report any concerns or incidents to the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be able to pass Fingerprint background check
- Must be able to pass CORI background check
- Must be able to pass DPPC background check
- Must be able to pass Driving background check
- Valid Driver's License
